On A Miss

2

When you try to remember the face of someone you loved, roll +time.

On a 10+, you have them. Completely, terribly. They are with you now and you may ask them one question they will answer from the deepest place they knew.

On a 7–9, you get a part of them — a gesture, a smell, a particular quality of afternoon light. It is enough to act on but not enough to keep.

On a miss, you remember instead the last time you saw them clearly, and what you were thinking about instead of them.
