When you watch someone you love from across a room, roll +the life you are living instead.
On a 10+, the distance is yours. You chose it and it holds you like a made thing.
On a 7-9, the distance looks back. Hold 1. Spend it to cross the room. You will not be able to explain why you waited so long and you will not need to.
On a miss, you realise you have been watching for some time. The room has changed. The GM will tell you what is different. You will not ask when it happened.
