On A Miss

1

When you attempt a task that should be simple, roll +the ordinary.

On a 10+, it is simple. It is done. You may feel, briefly, that you are a person who does things.

On a 7-9, the task becomes a room you are standing in the doorway of. You may enter - if so, spend a Resolve - or the GM introduces what has been waiting behind you while you hesitated.

On a miss, the task reveals something about the nature of tasks. You do not complete it. You gain an insight you would have preferred not to have.
