When you sleep somewhere that feels safe enough to dream, roll +what you've seen.

On a hit, you rest. Recover a Steadiness.

On a 7-9, the dream is one you recognise. The GM describes it once, briefly, in the second person. You wake having recovered your Steadiness, but the GM marks a Shadow on your sheet that only clears when you tell another character what you dreamed.

On a miss, you don't sleep. But you hear something in the dark that is simply the dark, and in the morning you understand something about endurance you couldn't have learned any other way. Mark Experience.
